Adopt-a-Thon

11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

It is very similar to a meet/greet and we have been asked to RSVP the number of Danes we will be bringing. So far we have signed up to attend:

Nick

Roosevelt

Harlie

Astro

Zeus

Ceasar

Aurora

And possibly any new dogs we get into rescue.

We are making our RSVP for 6 - 8 dogs.

We will have an information table available with educational materials as well as information about our group and applications. If volunteers want to attend who do not have foster dogs, they would be more than welcome to help answer questions. According to Camp Bow Wow, they had more than 1500 people attend last year to see all the available dogs and we all know our guys will draw attention. We're even going to have a nice variety: black, 2 harls, blue, mantle and fawn!

UPDATE Sunday, Sept 16, 2007

This event was a Great Success! Many folks came out to meet dogs. We received a few great applications for adoption, and even a new volunteer! Whoo Hoo!

We were really proud of our foster danes! They did such a great job!

Many Thanks also to our new friends at Heartland Lab Rescue for helping us hold dogs during set up.
