Gabriel has very expressive eyes and she
uses them to satisfy her extreme need for
attention, she will just give you the doe eyes
until you pet her. If that doesn't work, she
will follow you anywhere. If that doesn't work,
she will lift your hand or arm with her nose to
get you to pet her, and if all else fails she
will start talking to you. When Gabriel is not
asking for attention she loves to lay around and
she enjoys playing with humans, but not so much
on her own. She would rather use time alone to
rest up. She has to be encouraged to play, but
once she gets started she is very rowdy!

Thank you!
She will chase a flashlight like a cat...it
drives her crazy with happiness!
Gabriel minds well, is curious about but yet
untested with cats, gets along with the few dogs
she has met out for walks in her foster
situation. She has regular contact with a female
Cocker Spaniel and does very well. Her former
owner said she gets along fine with dogs of both
sexes, but plays too rough for some small dogs
to handle. She has minimal experience with kids,
but the times she has been with them she has
done well. Caution for very small children (
under 5) she might be too rowdy at times for a
household with little ones. She might knock them
down or swing her head into their face when she
is excited. No Malice intended, but it will
hurt, BAD! Think twice if you mind you child
having some serious crashes with Dane, floor,
and furnishings.
Gabby enjoys going outside so she does act like
she has to potty just to get that door
open. Of course this makes you her slave human
because she might not be faking and have an
accident. So you will have to let her out most
every time. That's one way to wrap you around
her paw, right? She knows sit, shake, and
speak! She is crate trained and potty trained.
She does listen when you say no...to the point
of looking like you hurt her feelings! It will
melt your heart she is so sweet...and diabolical!
Gabriel is Heartworm Positive. She is being
treated for this condition and is expected to
make a full recovery. She is spayed and
vaccinated. She enjoys a good bath, but doesn't
like her ears cleaned and will try to get away.
Her ears were quite gunky when she came, so she
might need that done for her once a month at
least.
