Dixie loves to ride in cars and gets along with all the dogs who are currently being fostered at her location in Shawnee. Dixie LOVES kids, walks well on a leash and is a very smart girl. Wise even, due to her 9 years on earth. She was an inside dog previously, so she knows her house manners, but she has had to be fostered outside due to lack of space in her current situation. Dixie has a rare eye color combination...both brown, just one lighter than the other. Dixie has been through alot in her life and its shows. She has the wear and tear scars of a dog who has seen suffering. She knows how to value the good life and will be forever grateful for you to give it to her.

Calm and low maintenance, she still can hold her own at playtime with other dogs and kids. She will let you know she wants some love and attention with a head nudge so she's not shy in the least. Give Dixie a chance at your house, she won't let you down!
